A non-profit organisation, The Authentication Solution Providers’ Association (ASPA), took off to Hyderabad for its second brand protection awareness workshop.
The organisation that represents the authentication solutions industry, had their consumer-centric ‘Make Sure India’ campaign in Hyderabad recently. The first brand protection awareness workshop was held in Indore in July this year.
Speaking at the event, Mr. U.K. Gupta, President, ASPA said, “As counterfeiting is becoming a menace, the key is to focus on awareness. One of our main aims is to develop and strengthen industry’s capacity to combat product counterfeits through evidence-based research, education and outreach.”
He further revealed that a lot of hurdles are being faced by brand-owners in selecting and searching for brand protection solutions. He added, “To help meet this need, we are running the campaign ‘Make Sure India’ across the country for brand owners and consumers educating them about this serious issue.”
